While going through difficult phases in life it is important to have faith to fall back on. Faith is the ability to trust in what you cannot see. Even if you are not a spiritual person you will still benefit from having faith in yourself and will find peace in your current circumstances.
Our guest speaker for our July faith meeting was Heidi Graybill.
Heidi is the Care Ministry Administrative Assistant at Park Valley in Haymarket. Through the Care Team, she counsels those in need, and mentors the churches lay counseling team. Some of her recent initiatives have included creating a Cancer Support Group, a Kids card Ministry, hospital visitation teams, and an event entitled Feed the Soul that fed over 850 families. Mrs. Graybill is a Christian Counselor, certified by the American Association of Christian Counseling, trained in trauma, marriage and family, child development, grief, anxiety, and women’s abuse. She graduated from Liberty University with a degree in Christian Counseling. Previously, Heidi led a “Fresh Start” counseling program in Clarksville, TN, and founded a Military Ministry in San Antonio, Tx. She is married to Major Eric Graybill of the US Army, and they have three children, Kade (13), Tyler (10), and Abi (7). Heidi is passionate about obeying her calling so that through Him all that are mentally and spiritually wounded can once again become whole.
We had a wonderful evening hearing from Heidi and learn more about faith-based living!
